Why did you choose basket-ball rather than sport where Swedish(es) used to shine like cross-country skiing, tennis, athletics? ...
I chose basketball because my older sister Sofia played basketball, and my mother was the coach of her team.. so I was always there and watched her practise and games, and it looked so fun, and when a got older I started to play to and fell in love with it!! I was in track and field when I was younger because both my parents were successfull in that but I clearly preferred basketball, maybe because its a team sport and I like that!

With your sisters, we may think that you started to play basketball early?....
I started to play when I was around 8 years old, I loved sports and it came natural to me to practise and do different sports, and there is alot of sport tradition in my family!

Where did you play before Tarbes?...
Before I came here in Tarbes I played in my home town in Sweden, Södertälje. The club is called SBBK and the women team name is Telge!! I played there in the highest league in Sweden for 4 years before I came here in Tarbes!

The departure of Elin (she left Tarbes for Madrid, and it was then the first time you didn't play together in the same team) was the hardest moment of your young career? ... One can imagine you were quite sad with that, how did you overcome it? ...
Of course, it was hard the first week when she left but you get in to it kind of fast and you can talk everyday on the phone so it was okay! Of course, I miss her, it would be weird if I didnt. But since this was the first time we didnt play together, I thought it would be harder to be apart than it was!





What is your best souvenir in Basket ...
My greatest souvenir in Basketball is my silver medal in U-19 world championship 2007 with Sweden!! It's an unforgettable memorie and since it was Swedens first WC, it is even bigger!

Tarbes has great results.... You expected that before the season ?....
I didnt really know what to expect because this is my first season here in France, but I definately thought we could be in the top of the league and after 10 games I felt like we could be in the final because we have a very strong team! And here we are in the final so I am happy!!

Bourges is the favorite to win tiltles in France this season, what are the objectives of TGB?.... The Euroleague ... A title? ...
Our main goal for this season was to get a Euroleuge spot for next season and we made that, and of course you always play to win the championship so thats what we are going for now!

PS: Unfortunately for Tarbes, Bourges was too strong this year, so Frida and TGB will have to wait one more year to get a trophy....
